Joanna Zaccaria, MS, MT-BC is a board-certified Music Therapist with a Master's in Psychology, originally from Rochester, NY. Serving UCSC as the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) Coordinator, Joanna works to develop relationships with staff and students that help to promote safety and wellness. With a background in crisis and mental health, Joanna brings over six years of knowledge, research, and field experience that help her to gather data and create systems that support the BIT members and utilizers.
