Building a Safety Culture

Building a Safety Culture is the first in a series of classes intended to provide supervisors and managers with the tools necessary for maintaining a safe working environment and facilitating optimal recovery for injured employees. Building a Safety Culture provides an introduction to many important concepts explored in subsequent classes. In this first class attendees will:

• Gain an appreciation of the safety and injury management challenges at UCSC
• Understand your role in preventing injuries
• Learn immediate actions you can take to impact and improve campus safety and injury management
