The UCSC Faculty & Staff Wellness Program supports the health and well-being of the campus community through UCSC Healthy Campus. UCSC Healthy Campus strives to create a healthy campus environment through integrated programs and initiatives designed to provide a holistic and balanced approach to well-being across multiple dimensions of wellness. Wellness initiatives include:

The Diabetes Prevention Program

The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), a 1-year lifestyle change program that follows the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Diabetes Prevention Program.

 

The Healthy Beverage Initiative (HBI)

The Healthy Beverage Initiative (HBI), which aims to improve access to tap water as a healthy alternative to sugar-sweetened beverages and provides the opportunity to reduce sugar sweetened beverages on campus.
