Affinity Alumni Association

There are several affinity groups as part of UCSC Alumni Association.

Black Experience Team

Continues to stay active in the work to foster the change necessary to achieve ongoing recruitment and retention.

Center for Cultural Studies

Opportunities include research clusters, conferences, workshops, visiting scholars, publications, film series, and a Resident Scholars Program.

Student Diversity and Inclusion Programs

CHES (Colleges, Housing and Educational Services) offers educational opportunities to help students uphold UC Santa Cruz's commitment to respecting difference, celebrating diversity, and increasing levels of inclusiveness.

Cultural Arts and Diversity

Fosters the spirit of unity between cultures by providing outlets for the creative talents of the members of various cultural backgrounds through a series of lectures, presentations, workshops and productions.

Educational Oppornity Program

Provides a variety of academic and personal support programs designed to improve the retention and academic success of first-generation college students from low-income and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds and to ensure they successfully complete their undergraduate education and acquire the skills to prepare for graduate and professional school as well as future leadership roles.

Offers students various services through academic, cultural and community support activities.

 

Students with Agency (SOMeCA)

Developed innovative processes, programs, and structures to grow learning environments and to contribute to positive changes on campus.

Student Organization, Advising and Resources (SOAR)

Members can learn leadership skills, participate in workshops, work on exciting projects, and build friendships through over 150 programs.
